Logistics Division
The Logistics Division provides integrated logistics solutions to a diverse range of customers.
Areas that are covered include Durban, Johannesburg, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth/East London. CHC, in support of its Logistics Division,
has an established In-House Clearing and Forwarding Division which handles sea freight, airfreight, rail and road imports/exports.
It also offers international forwarding services, customs brokerage and transportation/distribution.
This division is a member of the Durban Chamber of Commerce.
Films Division
CHC Films is the recognized agent and distributor in South Africa for ExxonMobil Chemical Films Europe (ExxonMobil),
which is the largest manufacturer of biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) films used in labeling and flexible packaging.
CHC Films imports wide web reels and slits to customers’ specification .
CHC Films is also the appointed agent and distributor of Forbo Bonding Systems in South Africa. Forbo is one of the largest formulators, producers and marketers of industrial adhesives with more than 30 manufacturing sites and offices around the world.
Global Division
Global supplies a broad spectrum of inorganic chemical products, including high purity dense soda ash (disodium carbonate)
to the chemical and metallurgical industries. Soda ash, a common element in a wide range of manufacturing processes, is a key ingredient in glass,
candle wax, paper, soap and washing powder detergents. CHC Global also caters for customers’ supply chain needs by providing world-class bulk storage
and handling facilities.
Polymerworld Division
Polymerworld is the long standing agent and distributor for SABIC – IP (previously known as General Electric Plastics). CHC Polymerworld stocks an extensive range of SABIC-IP products including engineering thermo plastics, specialty film and sheet (which are versatile high performance materials characterised by high impact strength, excellent balance of weight and stiffness, naturally crystal clear transparency and design freedom). Furthermore, CHC Polymerworld distributes the Tenac range of homo- and co-polymers from Ashai Japan.
In addition to resins, CHC Polymerworld carry the full range of Lexan Thermoclear, Margard and Exell–D specialty films and sheet as well as Huntsman Krystalflex PU film.
CHC Polymerworld is also distributors of GE Automotive Lighting products.

Elastogran South Africa
Elastogran South Africa (previously CHC Elastogran) is a joint venture company between Elastogran and CHC
Urethane Products. It produces and distributes polyurethane (PU) raw materials and systems in South Africa
and Sub-Saharan Africa and its broad expertise in PU technologies is well recognised across the industry.
CHC East Coast (Kenya)
The CHC East Coast offices are based in Nairobi, Kenya. CHC East Coast services the East African market by supplying a broad
range of chemical, plastic, packaging and urethane products.
